The awards ceremony and presentations took place at the Birdfair at Rutland Water. Here is my winning entry:

It was a pleasure to be presented with the award in a full marquee by top campaigner and top bloke Chris Packham. Chris seemed particularly supportive of the image, with the comment "When I saw this photograph I nearly broke down and cried, I was so envious. I loved this photograph".
